NORBIT UK, in cooperation with clients Forth Ports Ltd. has recently conducted a one day multibeam awareness seminar for students on the MSc Land and Hydrographic course at the University of Glasgow.

The students got the opportunity to mobilise a complete NORBIT iWBMS multibeam system on the vessel Calatria, and engage directly with Dr. Aleksandra Kruss from the NORBIT support team. Staff from Forth Ports presented some of their multibeam data visualisation and discussed hydrographic, engineering and dredging marine applications during classroom sessions throughout the day.
