Effective January 4, 2021 Stefan Sagen will join NORBIT Oceans as Research and Development Director, applying his leadership and industry knowledge to the delivery of NORBIT’s ambitious product roadmap across the Hydrographic, Environmental Monitoring and Security/Defense segments.

Stefan comes from NORBIT ODM – the division of NORBIT which provides R&D services to key industrial customers – where, in managerial positions, he has been a driving force behind the development and delivery of several important projects in close collaboration with major clients, both Security, Defense and Research Establishments. Before joining NORBIT, he spent seven years as project manager at Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace, leading the development of complex subsea defense and surveillance systems.
