Neptune Energy Norway AS chose NORBIT Aptomar’s BlueDeal Environmental monitoring service during the drilling of the Gjøa P1 tie-backs in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea

NORBIT Aptomar is very happy that Neptune Energy chose our BlueDeal environmental monitoring service for their drilling on the Gjøa P1 tie-backs this winter. “The collaboration between NORBIT Aptomar and our organization has been excellent during this campaign”, says Neptune Energy. “The BlueDeal solution enabled our company to document an environmentally safe and clean operation on the Gjøa P1 drilling, in accordance with regulations and internal standards. When proceeding with our drilling operations on Duva in the near future, it is a natural choice for us to continue with BlueDeal from NORBIT Aptomar.”

Through the BlueDeal service, NORBIT Aptomar implemented a tailored remote sensing solution to document a spill-free drilling and well clean-up operation. The daily monitoring was handled by specially trained personnel on the standby vessels Norsea Fighter and Ocean Alden, and the entire operation was supervised by Aptomarin 24/7 marine control center in Trondheim.
