In 2024 NORBIT Subsea welcomed a record number of marine survey professionals to the annunal Seahorse Multibeam Survey Training and regional Jersey City Operators Course with particiants learning best-practicies and gaining hands-on expereince in subsea mapping. We’re preparing for more training oportunities in 2025, with the next 5-day NORBIT Seahorse Multibeam Survey Training taking place :
April 28 to May 2 in Portland, Oregon, USA.

About the Training
The NORBIT Seahorse Multibeam Survey Training is an opportunity for beginner and experienced surveyors to engage with hydrography instructors in a hands-on training environment. On the morning of the first day, we conduct a high-resolution bathymetric survey while highlighting and discussing industry bestpractices. The data collected will be processed immediately following completion of the field module. In the subsequent days, attendees will partcipate in practical classroom and field modules to learn best-practice surveying and data processing techniques and tips to improve quality and efficiency while carrying out high-accuracy hydrographic surveys. Each participant shall be issued a certificate for NORBIT Seahorse Multibeam Survey Training upon completion. This event is limited in class size. Space is not guaranteed without prior registration and payment.
