The WINGHEAD B44, due to its high performance beamformer and 0.5° receive beam width, is able to generate industry leading beam density, allowing operators to reveal the smallest details on pipelines and other subsea assets whilst achieving even the most demanding of survey requirements.

WINGHEAD sonars are compact and lightweight without any compromise on data quality and system robustness. An integrated sound velocity sensor further reduces the installation footprint and auxiliary sensor requirement whilst maintaining the one cable installation. The sonars are based on a state of the art analog and digital platforms featuring powerful signal processing capabilities, offering roll stabilised bathymetry and several types of imagery and backscatter output. With broad R&D expertise, NORBIT has developed, from the ground-up, exciting new technology that allows existing and new applications to benefit from the advantages offered by a compact wideband curved-array multibeam sonar.
