Highly portable intruder detection sonar suitable for rivers, dams, and temporary deployments.
GuardPoint™ 400 is particularly suited for ultra shallow waters (1-2m) and/or for restricted areas. GuardPoint™ 400 complements the NORBIT offering when it comes to overcoming the most complicated surveillance tasks. Best used for surveillance of power/desalination plants, rivers and borders, as well as shallow waters in general.
GuardPoint™ 400 is complemented by the GuardPoint Intruder Tracking Software, designed to be powerful yet easy to use, even for inexperienced sonar operators. It automatically detects and classifies closed and open circuit divers, while minimising false alarms for biologicals and wakes caused by boats. Furthermore, GuardPoint Intruder Tracking Software tracks multiple divers simultaneously, features data recording and replay, and offers integration with third-party command and control systems, along with an interface to underwater loudhailers.
NORTrace Software can be used to optimize the system performance or to predict performance changes in different weather conditions.
All NORBIT sonars can be offered with ClearSignal ® anti fouling protection, specifically developed to protect while maximizing sound performance.
