The NORBIT WINGHEAD i80S and i80S Long Range multibeam sonars are designed to deliver exceptional performance in extreme operational environments, offering ultra-high resolution bathymetric mapping and 3D/4D data for underwater surveys.
The WINGHEAD i80S Long Range offers a range capability of up to 600m.
Featuring a compact cylindrical curved-array design, these systems are optimised for rapid mobilisation anytime, anywhere, even in challenging conditions with significant vessel motion.

Both models are built on a state-of-the-art analogue and digital platform that integrates advanced signal processing capabilities and full motion stabilisation, including roll, pitch, and yaw, ensuring the highest quality bathymetry, imagery, and backscatter data. The i80S Long Range model extends the system’s operational depth up to 600 meters, making it ideal for deep-water surveys while maintaining its high-resolution output.
