NORBIT Subsea develops and delivers advanced, compact, and portable sonar systems. At NORBIT Subsea, we oversee the entire process, from development through industrialization to production and service. Everything takes place in our facilities centrally located in Trondheim.

NORBIT Subsea is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator for a newly created position at our headquarters in Trondheim. We need a precise and passionately engaged colleague with relevant education and/or experience in the supply chain domain.

Possible tasks:
• NPI projects (New Product Introduction)
o Participate in projects across the organization, providing purchasing and inventory services.
o Manage project inventory, purchases, and supplier follow-up.
o Participate in product documentation reviews.

• Inventory management
o Take the lead on owning and maintaining our ERP system.
o Responsible for inventory reporting.
o Purchase parts and handle incoming goods.

• Supplier management
o Assist in RFQ processes towards existing and new suppliers
o Prepare status reports and handle action items in connection with supplier status meetings
o Maintain updated supplier database information

Desired Qualifications:
• Higher relevant education at bachelor’s level, preferably within purchasing/logistics.
• 2-5 years of experience in purchasing, preferably at the operational level.
• Project experience from the same industry.
• Strong digital tool proficiency.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of ERP systems.
• Good language skills in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken.
